Jeannette Washington, M.Ed. has worked as both a Speech Language Pathologist and Software Engineer. Her experience working largely with dyslexic learners has earned her recognition in The Washington Post alongside the cofounder of the Yale Center for Dyslexia & Creativity.

Jeannette is trained as a LETRS instructor which is accredited by the International Dyslexia Association. Learning to code further ignited her passion for special populations in the tech industry and inspired her to write the book Technical Difficulties: Why Dyslexic Narratives Matter In Tech.

Jeannettte can always be found boasting the importance of accessibility, inclusivity, cognitive diversity (or neurodiversity) and equity in tech.
